<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method of an infrared detecting device for displaying an infrared image, heading direction, azimuth of a flight object near it, and an estimated distance to and elevation of the object, visually, easily to recognize, when displaying the omnidirectional infrared image. SOLUTION: The display method comprises an entirely circumferential image memory means for accumulating an omnidirectional image signal from an infrared sensor at an omnidirectional image data, an address converting means for converting the omnidirectional image data to an omidirectional infrared image signal displayable in a circular shape, a scan converting means for creating a PPI image indicating the distance on a concentric circle with the omnidirectional infrared image signal or an elevation information image signal, piling a emblem, based on desired information of the object from a signal processing means for extracting the object on the created signal, and converting it to a display format, and a display means for displaying the image signal converted to the display format.</p> |
