摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion battery charger where there are few integrated errors of charge currents, with a simple circuit. SOLUTION: A charge voltage detecting circuit 4 detects the voltage of a battery, and a charge current detecting circuit 5 detects the voltage proportionate to a charge current. A control logic circuit 8 performs the abnormal check of the battery voltage and the control on the preliminary charge of a constant current by a very small current and the quick charge. In the quick charge, it performs the constant current charge by a charge maximum current until the battery voltage reaches the full charge level, and then, it performs the constant current charge by the charge current being reduced in phases each time the battery voltage reaches the full charge voltage, and when the charge current reaches the charge completion current value, the charge is finished. Since the feedback circuit to an output drive circuit is composed of only a constant current control circuit, the circuit constitution becomes simple, and the quantity of the charge current being reduced in phases is clear, so the temporal integral value of the charge current can be obtained accurately.
