摘要 PURPOSE: A method for micro-controlling refraction index of polymer compound is provided to ensure the control process by synthesis of low optical loss monomers excluding specific functional groups causing the optical loss and copolymerization of monomers having different refraction indices. CONSTITUTION: The micro-controlling method comprises copolymerizing two polymeric monomers having different functional groups with varied amounts thereof; and finely controlling refraction index of the synthesized polymer compound. The synthesized polymer compound contains triazine and hexafluoro bisphenol A as its main chains, has desired refraction index ranged of 1.50-1.55 and is useable as the material of thermo-optical element. The polymer compound further includes less than 30 wt.% of alternative polymeric monomer capable of thermosetting and having a main structure of triazine relative to the weight of the entire polymeric monomers.
