SYSTEM FOR SETTING UP NOZZLE CLOGGING INDEX

摘要

PURPOSE: A nozzle clogging index setting system is provided to reduce nozzle clogging and evaluate influence degree of product quality by making the nozzle clogging as a numerical formula with physical characteristics and developing the measured nozzle clogging index. CONSTITUTION: In a nozzle clogging index setting system making nozzle clogging index as a numerical formula to settle quality guarantee of a slab to quality lowering of a product generated due to nozzle clogging cause by making nozzle clogging level of a continuous casting process as measured value data, the nozzle clogging index is represented by a formula (Q"-Q)/Q showing the ratio of theoretical discharge flow to actual discharge flow. The nozzle clogging index setting system includes the steps of calculating actual discharge quantity of steel according to the opened degree of a sliding gate, calculating theoretical discharge quantity from iron static pressure calculated from the opened degree state of the sliding gate and weight of steel, and calculating ratio of theoretical discharge quantity to actual discharge quantity.
