PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a color conversion table, which can generate an optimum color conversion table, a color conversion table gener ated by the manufacturing method, a manufacturing device and a recording medium. SOLUTION: First gradation data in the color specification space of a conversion destination, which corresponds to whole gradation color specification data of a conversion source, is obtained based on a full size table where gradation data in the color specification space of the conversion destination is made to correspond to whole gradation color specification data of the conversion source. Second gradation data in the color specification space of the conversion destination, which corresponds to whole gradation color specification data of the conversion source, is obtained based on a generated small size table obtained by thinning it from the full size table. The grid interval of the small size table is decided so that the total of a difference between first gradation data and second gradation data becomes minimum on whole gradation color specification data of the conversion source.
