PURPOSE: The titled exhaust gas treating apparatus capable of removing hot blast, oil fraction, bad smell generating materials, and dust of exhaust gas generated during the operation of a tender used as an ironing apparatus in a dyeing process is provided, which is easy to maintain and repair, convenient to attach and detach a cartridge and has the advantage of solving pollution of flushing water and recovering oil fraction. CONSTITUTION: This exhaust gas treating apparatus of a tender(2) comprises: a demister(3,4) for preventing a counter current of moisture while collecting dust and oil fraction contained in high temperature exhaust gas generated from the tender in the first stage; a cyclone scrubber(5) for removing dust and oil fraction contained in exhaust gas in the second stage while lowering the temperature of exhaust gas by spraying flushing water; a fibrous activated carbon absorbing machine(6) for absorbing, deodorizing and dust collecting in the third stage; a cooling tower(7) for recovering flushing water injected through a nozzle and cooling; a flushing water supply pump(8); and an oil separator(9) for separating an oil layer from the flushing water layer.
