PURPOSE: A karaoke machine having consumption calorie measuring function and consumption calorie measuring method is provided to measure and indicate momentum by counting the frequency and time stepping on a touch pad to be connected with a karaoke machine and comparing with basis consumption calorie data. CONSTITUTION: A memory(300) stores song accompaniment data necessary to song accompaniment, picture data including a caption, accompaniment program to express motion and function of a karaoke machine. An audio signal processing part(330) converts song accompaniment data into sound of music instrument according to control command of a control part(320) corresponding to key signal which user inputs through a key input part(310) and accompaniment program. An audio signal synthesizer(340) synthesizes user acoustic signal to be input through output signal and mike of the audio signal processing part(330) and outputs this by an audio apparatus. A picture signal processing part(350) converts picture data into picture signal and outputs this by a video apparatus. A touch pad(360) outputs a designated signal when user steps on its designated position and turns on and off a lamp according to driving signal to be input from the outside. A counter(370) counts signal to be output according to that users steps on the touch pad(360) and outputs the frequency and time stepping on the touch pad(360).
