PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous producing method of hydrogen for a fuel cell, by using a highly active, as well as highly heat resistant, catalyst for reforming methanol, letting water vapor and air react with methanol, and efficiently generating a reformed gas mainly composed of hydrogen by self heat supply reaction. SOLUTION: In production of the reformed gas mainly composed of hydrogen by letting water vapor and air react with methanol under the existence of a catalyst, the catalyst having copper oxide, zinc oxide, and aluminum oxide as the main components, and containing platinum and/or palladium is used. |
