PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a hydrogen-storage alloy electrode used in a sealed alkaline storage battery and having good electrode characteristics, including quick charging characteristics, internal battery pressure characteristics. SOLUTION: There are Step 1 for adding a catalytic metallic salt and a colloidal stabilizer to an alcohol aqueous solution for heating to prepare particle colloid; Step 2 for mixing the particle colloid with hydrogen-storage alloy and a binder to prepare slurry; and Step 3 for applying the slurry on a collector for drying to form an active material layer. Thus a catalytic metal having a desired particle diameter is uniformly dispersed and present on the surface and interior of an electrode. |
