PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell and method of manufacturing the same having a simple structure and enabling to be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: A cell element 20, in which a positive electrode 21 having a positive electrode combination layer 21a and a positive electrode current collection layer 21b and a negative electrode 22 having a negative electrode combination layer 22a and a negative electrode collection layer 22b are laminated through an electrolyte 23, is housed within an inside of an external member 10. A portion of the external member 10 adjacent to the positive electrode current collection layer 21b has an opening 11 and a portion of the external member 10 adjacent to the negative electrode collection layer 22b has an opening 12. Accordingly, the positive electrode collection layer 21b and the negative electrode collection layer 22b are partially exposed via the openings 11, 12. The exposed portions of the positive electrode collection layer 21b and the negative electrode collection layer 22b can electrically be connected to outside to function respectively as electrode terminals. |
