PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel device having high accuracy 1 frame member forward and backward, having a good efficiency in terms of space, and which can be miniaturized and made compact. SOLUTION: The lens barrel device 1 is provided with a 1st group frame 4, a focus frame 5, a focus holding frame 6 and a 3rd group frame 7 which are supported by guide shafts 8, 9 and 11 so as to be freely moved forward and backward, and the guide shafts 8 and 9 are firmly fixed and supported in parallel to the focus holding frame 6, and the 1st group frame 4 and the 3rd group frame 7 are supported at both end part of the guide shafts so as to be made slidable. Accordingly, the occupied space due to the movement of the 1st group frame 4 and the 3rd group frame 7 is small, then, the distortion of the guide shaft is reduced as compared with the conventional lens barrel where a guide shaft for cantilever-supporting the end part is used, then, the accuracy in moving the frame member forward and backward is enhanced, besides, the guide shaft can be made narrower.
