PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitted illumination dial, for a measuring instrument for a vehicle, by which a red zone in a warning instruction region executed on the surface of the transmitted illumination dial used for the measuring instrument can be displayed clearly in a red color. SOLUTION: The transmitted illumination dial is formed in such a way that a transmission character color layer in a semitransmission light color is formed on a translucent substrate which constitutes the transmitted illumination dial for the vehicle, that a red color layer is formed, by a red painting operation displaying the red zone, in the prescribed position on the surface of the transmission character layer and that a light shielding layer is formed on the surface of the red color layer shaped in the red zone and on the surface of the transmission character color layer excluding the display part of a character, a graduation or the like. A pink color-based fluorecent paint layer is formed in a position corresponding to the rear of the red color layer formed on the dial for the vehicle.
