PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cover structure for a clock case, which is superior in appearance, without adversely affecting the movement due to the deflection of a battery cover with water pressure and removing the deformed battery cover from a battery hole. SOLUTION: A circular case battery hole 10 is provided directly under a battery storage hole 7h in a reverse cover 3 and a battery cover removal recessed portion 3c is provided in the part of the outer face of the periphery of the battery hole. The battery cover 13 consists of a disc elastic seal member 11, having a large diameter portion 11b at the inside of the clock case 1 and a small diameter portion 11s at the outside and a disc metal or plastic hard member 12, bonded to the outside of the elastic seal member 11. The small diameter portion 11s of the elastic seal member 11 is mounted in the case battery hole 10, so as too have a horizontal interference in a space to the case battery hole 10. The cattery cover 13 in this construction has the elastic seal member 11 provided with a fitting recessed portion 11c at the outside and the hard member 12 provided with a fitting protruded portion 12c at the inside, the elastic seal member 11 and the hard member 12 being fitted and bonded to each other.
