PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where restriction of meandering can be carried out well against a belt state member without any change due to lapse of time. SOLUTION: In the image forming device provided with a photoreceptor 1 that is a cylindrical state rotating body and an intermediate transfer belt 6a as the belt state member that is moved endlessly in a state of contact with the photoreceptor 1, flanges 11 as a meandering stopping parts to restrict the meandering of the belt in a direction that is orthogonal to a direction of movement of a surface of the intermediate transfer belt 6a are installed on both end parts in a shaft direction of the photoreceptor 1.
