A particulate wetting agent, for machine dishwashing is disclosed, which comprises (a) 10 to 90 wt. % of one or several matrix materials, selected from polymers, which are solid at room temperature; (b) 90 to 10 wt. % of one or several active ingredients and (c) 0 to 10 wt. % of additional active ingredients and adjuncts. Said particulate wetting agent can be produced in supplied form, either as a solid rinsing agent for measuring out by the user, or as an additive component in a machine dishwashing agent.
