PURPOSE: An emergency parking brake seeks parking stability and assures user's convenience. CONSTITUTION: An emergency parking brake comprises a pedal arm(11a), a protrusive bracket(33), a rotating arm(34), a restoring spring(35) and a wire(36). The pedal arm(11a) is rotatably installed on a mounting bracket(31). The protrusive bracket(33) having a hooker(33a) is integrally formed with the pedal arm(11a). The rotating arm(34) having a hooker(34a) engaged with the hooker(33a) is rotatably installed on the facing position to the protrusive bracket(33). The restoring spring(35) connects between a car body and the rotating arm(34) to give restoring force to the rotating arm(34). The wire(36) is connected with the rotating arm(34) on the one end thereof and with a handle(37) on the other end thereof. The emergency parking brake can artificially control the pedal arm(11a) so as to keep force of parking brake when a parking brake is broken out.
