PURPOSE: An electron gun in a cathode ray tube is provided to prevent a bending phenomenon of a static-fields control electrode plate by forming the electrode plate with a bimetal. CONSTITUTION: Among main lens forming electrodes, a static-field control electrode plate(120) consists of at least two metal plates that are arranged so as to be piled on. The metal plates have different coefficients of thermal expansion. The metal plates form a bimetal. The first one(120a) of the metal plates is larger coefficient of thermal expansion than that of the second one(120b) thereof. The first and second metal plates(120a,120b) are arranged in a direction where a static-fields control electrode plate(120) is bent, in this order.
