DEVICE FOR CUTTING SMALL DIAMETER PIPING

PURPOSE: A cutting device for a small diameter piping is provided to minimize radiation dose by easily cutting a piping installed in a high radiation section such as a nuclear power plant. CONSTITUTION: A small diameter piping cutter consists of a base(10) having a V-block shaped supporter supporting a small diameter piping, a joint connecting an upper and a lower band saw and two fixers(60) in a nut shape; two fixing chains(20) of which one end is connected to a bolt shaft(70) combined with the fixer by a screw through the base and the other end is hung on a slot groove of the base as a free end; an air cylinder(30) operating the band saw through a wire(80) and adjusting air pressure according to the installation position of the cutter; a regulator(40) controlling the pneumatic pressure and the operation of the air cylinder; and the wire transmitting cutting force to the cutter, between a piston rod(31) of the air cylinder and the band saw passing the roller of the base.
