A method of screening a cytokine-like peptide characterized by searching for a peptide, which binds to an antibody having an activity of neutralizing a cytokine and is capable of expressing the biological activity of the cytokine, from among peptides having been not confirmed as having the biological activity of the cytokine; the cytokine-like peptide obtained by this screening method; and drugs containing this peptide as the active ingredient.
