The filter has a filter housing (12) containing a filter element (1) with, seen towards the outlet, a valve end disc (16) which in conjunction with the housing wall forms a non-return valve for the crude oil supply. The valve end disc is made of elastomer material forming the valve together with the inner wall of the housing.
