The method for producing a watertight lining by means of joined, partly overlapping sheets (1, 1', 1'') involves provision of corner and similar 'difficult' regions with sheets (1') without a cover layer before sheets (1, 1'') with a cover layer (4) are laid. An Independent claim is also included for means for producing watertight linings. Such means include sheets without a cover layer for corner and similar 'difficult' regions.
