摘要 The electronic circuit breaker includes a thermally conductive carrier or supporting element, and one or more power semiconductor elements (8) thermally coupled by their heat-conducting housings to the carrier element. These devices are designed to meet requirements for a very high number of switching cycles and a long operating life, as demanded by modern low-consumption type vehicles. The switches are capable of switching off the vehicle's engine at traffic lights, and during all temporary stops, and then switching the engine on again, a regime that available commercial electromechanical switches cannot meet. Two conductors (2a,2b) are mechanically rigidly joined to the carrier element (1) and at least one (2a) is thermally coupled to the carrier element. An electronic control is connected to the power semiconductor element (8).
