PURPOSE: A powertrain of an automatic transmission for a vehicle is provided to minimize the shock of the change of speed by continuously and automatically changing speed at a low speed region. CONSTITUTION: A powertrain of an automatic transmission for a vehicle is composed of a torque converter which converts and outputs a torque transmitted from an engine; a first transmission unit(2) which outputs a transmission gear ratio through a fourth power transmission member(34); a second transmission unit(4) which includes a fifth friction element to output the transmission gear ratio at the uniform velocity with the first transmission unit(2); and a fourth friction element which transmits the force of a stator to a transfer drive sprocket.
