METHOD FOR WARNING FIRE OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A fire warning method of an air conditioner is provided to promptly control a fire by generating a fire warning sound when temperature of intake air is over a specific level and to prevent spreading of the fire by cutting off a set power. CONSTITUTION: A fire warning method comprises the steps of: sensing temperature of air sucked via an intake port; comparing the sensed temperature of the intake air with a temperature predetermined in a control unit; and stopping an air conditioner while outputting a fire warning if the temperature of the intake air is higher than the predetermined level. With output of a warning sound, a fire is controlled promptly. By cutting off a set power, spreading of the fire is prevented.
