<p>An open roof construction for a vehicle having an opening in its roof, the front part of which opening can be closed by a first panel (3) which is pivotable about a substantially horizontal axis (6) at the front edge thereof, whilst the remaining part of the roof opening can be closed by means of at least one slidable second panel (4), comprises a wind deflecting arrangement (5) that functions as a wind deflector. Said wind deflection arrangement (5) can be moved rearwards and upwards, using suitable driving means, from a position of rest under the first panel (3) to an operative position substantially above and behind the first panel (5). The wind deflection apparatus (5) may be pivotable about a horizontal pivot (13) that extends substantially transversely to the vehicle.</p> |
