摘要 PURPOSE: A controller and method determine whether a transfer and a hub are completely driven on switching to the four wheel mode and informs a driver of the four wheel driving. CONSTITUTION: A controller comprises a signal detecting device(10), a control device(20) and a display(30). The signal detecting device comprises a mode switching detector(11), a hub driving detector(12) and a transfer driving detector(13). The control device(20) reads the information detected and impressed by the signal detecting device(10) and outputs transfer and hub driving signal when four wheel driving signal is determined. The control device(20) determines whether the driving of the transfer and the hub is completed and output four wheel driving display signal when the driving of the transfer and the hub is completed. The control device(20) outputs four wheel driving impossibility signal when the hub driving completion is determined unavailable more than set times. The display(30) is impressed with the four wheel driving display signal and the four wheel driving unavailable signal outputted by the control device(20) to show four wheel driving or four wheel driving impossibility.
