The invention concerns a fluid filtering device wherein the housing (1) comprises a hub (5) adapted to receive all types of filtering elements (7), preferably homogeneous in volume. The housing and its hub are arranged to ensure filtration or microfiltration at low, medium or high pressure. The hub (5) is arranged to receive, maintain in shape and support by its central orifice and over its entire height at least a filtering element (7), and comprises means allowing through flowing filtered liquid adapted to the filtering pressure, towards the outlet (4). The hub (5) receiving the filtering element is either integral with the cover (2) of the housing (1) or secured on the cover, or centred and maintained between the housing and its cover.
