PURPOSE: A separable optical system is provided to improve assembling ability greatly by installing the first, second light source on each different base and omitting three dimensional control part through assembly process to fix these again. CONSTITUTION: An optical system to regenerate a compact disc and a digital video disc is constituted through the first(110), second light source(120) which scans laser beam of mutual different wavelength. The first light source that scans laser beam of a designated wavelength is located at one side of a main base(100). A cubic beam splitter(120), a mirror(130), a collimating lens(140), an objective lens(150) and an actuator(160) are located in turns on way of beam scanned from the first light source in the main base. A sub base(200) is located and fixed at the side of the main base(100). The first light source(110) and a second light source(120) that scans laser beam of other wavelength are located at one side of the sub base(200). A flat beam splitter(220), a focusing lens(230) and a photo diode(240) are located in turns at the front in the sub base(200).
