The invention relates to an adjusting device having a high demultiplication, for example, two joint parts of a seat back adjusting system or of a control cable adjusting system. The input shaft denticulation (14) is engaged with a planetary denticulation area of each planetary toothed wheel or engaged with a first adjusting denticulation area of the first adjusting toothed wheel and with a second adjusting denticulation area of the second adjusting toothed wheel. A first adjusting denticulation area (5) of the first adjusting toothed wheel and a second adjusting denticulation area (6) of the second adjusting toothed wheel have different numbers of teeth and/or the planetary denticulation areas (15, 16), which are engaged with the first and second adjusting denticulation areas (5, 6), have different numbers of teeth.
