The pipe clip comprises a mounting component (2) with sections which fit around the pipe and a clip (9) attached to the opposite side which can be fixed on to a mounting profile (8). The clip has arms (16) which fit over flanges (7) on the profile. The surface (18) which fits against the flange is rigid and has a high coefficient of friction so that the clip is prevented from tipping or working loose.
