The filter system designed according to the inventive method comprises at least two longitudinal branches with longitudinal inductive resistors and at least one filter step (B), and an adjacent filter step (A). The filter step (B) is provided with at least one transverse branch that is interposed in between the longitudinal branches, the adjacent filter step (A) directly adjoining the transverse branch. The number of inductive resistors of a filter step that are wound around different magnet cores can be reduced by equivalence transformation.
