PURPOSE: A brush for a flat type vibration motor is provided to simplify the metallic pattern design and the brush design by parallel forming the first bending part and the second bending part and to increase the productivity and to enhance the motor life. CONSTITUTION: The flat type vibration motor comprises a commutator, a winding coil of a rotor, and a stator. The lower part of a segments of the commutator is fixed to the lower substrate of the stator and the upper part of the segment is formed over the upper substrate of the rotor. The coil flux induced by smoothly contacting between the segment and the brush and the mutual cooperation between the induced coil flux and the magnet flux eccentrically rotates the rotor. The brush has one portion formed by straight shaped plate and the other portion formed by arc shaped plate having same concentric of the commutator. The straight shaped portion of the brush has two parallel curved parts vertically formed on the fixing portion. The plate slopes steeply from the first curved part and slopes gently to form the slant part. The end portion of the arc shaped slant part is formed to be a contact portion(114). The contact portion has an internal contact portion(114a) and an external contact portion(114b), these internal and external contact portions have different outside diameters by using two bending jigs having different outside diameters.
