METHOD FOR CHARGING RAW MATERIALS INTO BLAST FURNACE

PURPOSE: A method for charging raw materials into a blast furnace is provided to guide drop of gas flow of the center current and stabilize drop of charging materials of the furnace wall part, thus early securing the normal amount of air by increasing a ratio of thickness of ore in the furnace wall part and thickness of cokes through maintenance of somewhat long coke terrace. CONSTITUTION: The method for charging raw materials into a blast furnace comprises the processes of charging cokes on the charged charging materials when a charge position tracing apparatus exceeds the range of level control values after completion of charging of charges into a blast furnace during reblowing operation after poor conditions of the furnace or long term air blowing stoppage, thereby composing a coke terrace having a length of 0.32 to 0.53 r from the furnace wall; and forming a mixed layer having a length of 0.47 to 0.68 r from the center part of the furnace by charging cokes on the coke terrace.
