PURPOSE: An automatic alarm apparatus using a public communication network is provided to quickly report urgent circumstances that happen at home to corresponding public agencies via the network. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of detectors(10,11,12) detect the urgent circumstances. An urgent-circumstance informing button(20) provides a key input signal for informing another urgent circumstance when it happens. An alarm report part(30) receives the urgent-circumstance generation alarm signals applied from the detectors(10,11,12) and the urgent-circumstance informing button(20). The alarm report part(30) recognizes the alarm signals and then sends them to the public communication network such as a WLL(Wireless Local Loop). An alarm report process station(40) is implemented by a general telephone switching station or a WLL switching station. A plurality of alarm reception parts(50,51,52) are installed in the corresponding public agencies that can take a measure against the urgent circumstances.
