The invention relates to a tenside/solvent system for liquid formulations, containing: .alpha. one or more tensides on a non-aromatic base and .beta. a s a solvent, one or more water-insoluble or up to 10 g/l water-soluble, preferably 5 g/l, especially 2 g/l water-soluble triesters of phosphoric aci d with alcohols, preferably from the following group: 1) monovalent alkanols with 5 to 22 C-atoms, e.g. n-, i- or neo-pentanol, n-hexanol, n-octanol, 2- ethylhexanol; 2) diols or polyols, such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol or glycerol; 3) aryl-, alkylaryl-, poly(alkyl)aryl- and poly(arylalkyl)arylalcohols, for example phenol and/or cresol, octylphenol, nonylphenol, triisobutylphenol, tristyrylphenol; 4) alkoxylated alcohols whi ch are obtained by reacting the alcohols from 1), 2) or 3) with alkylene oxides , preferably (C1-C4)alkylene oxides; and 5) alkoxylated alcohols which are obtained by reacting monovalent alkanols with 1 to 4 C-atoms and alkylene oxides. The inventive tenside/solvent system is suitable for producing liqui d formulations of active agents.
