APPARATUS FOR COATING ALIGNING FILM OF LCD

PURPOSE: An apparatus for coating an aligning film of an LCD(liquid crystal display) is to change an aligning film coating method from a contacting way to a non-contacting way, thereby preventing generation of pressure and static electricity due to the contacting way. CONSTITUTION: A glass substrate is moved to a main body(10) in a state that the glass substrate be mounted on a stage(70). A nozzle head(20) is attached to a front face of a nozzle head. A nozzle is attached to the front face of the nozzle head to spray an aligning forming solution on the glass substrate. A gas line(40) supplies spraying pressure to the nozzle. The nozzle is comprised of an upper and lower nozzle. A plurality of nozzle holes are horizontally aligned on the upper nozzle at regular intervals. A plurality of nozzle holes are aligned on the lower nozzle in the form of a zigzag. A laser sensor(50) for detecting a space between the nozzle and the glass substrate is disposed at a side portion of the nozzle. A lead screw is screwed on the nozzle to be rotated by a servomotor in order to compensate a height of the nozzle according to the space detected by the laser sensor.
