PURPOSE: A TFT(thin film transistor)-LCD(liquid crystal display) is to provide a storage electrode line in the form of a separated individual line diverged from a gate line, thereby preventing delaying of a gate signal due to a storage capacitance. CONSTITUTION: A gate line(12) and a data line(14) is formed on a transparent insulating substrate to be crossed each other. A pixel electrode(16) is aligned in a pixel region defined by the gate line and the data line. A TFT(20) is disposed at a cross portion of the gate line and the data line, and has a gate electrode extended from the gate line to the pixel region, a channel layer formed on the gate electrode, a drain electrode(14b) extended from the data line to be overlapped with an upper face of the channel layer and a source electrode(14a) disposed to be overlapped with an upper face of the channel layer and also contacted with the pixel electrode. The gate line has a son gate line, and the first and second son gate line(12b,12c) diverged from the son gate line in parallel.
