摘要 PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display(LCD) device is to simplify a manufacturing process forming a pixel electrode with a conductive polymer and prevent a device failure due to a misalignment of a color filter layer and the pixel electrode. CONSTITUTION: A lower substrate(10) is spaced apart from an upper substrate(11) by a predetermined distance. A common electrode(21) is formed on the bottom face of the upper substrate. The first alignment layer(40) is coated on the bottom face of the common electrode. A pixel electrode(20) is formed on the top face of the lower substrate using a conductive polymer. The pixel electrode has a color filter function as well as an electrode function. A color filter layer(30) is doped on the top face of the pixel electrode. The second alignment layer(41) is coated on the lower substrate. The first alignment is in contact with one side of a spacer(50) and the second alignment is in contact with the other side of the spacer.
