PURPOSE: Knob cover installation structure for a refrigerator shroud is provided to prevent formation of a gap and to accurately control cold air discharge amount without leakage of cold air by directly inserting a knob cover to a semi-foamed synthetic rubber integrated with a shroud. CONSTITUTION: A semi-foamed synthetic rubber(20) is integrated with a vertical path of a shroud(1). A knob cover(10) prepared for control of amount of cold air passing through the vertical path is connected by using the characteristic of the semi-foamed synthetic rubber. For connection of the knob cover, many insertion ribs(13) are formed in the knob cover. The semi-foamed synthetic rubber allows easy insertion of such a hard material as the insertion ribs. The inner part of the semi-foamed synthetic rubber exposed due to insertion is expanded. Thus, sides of the knob cover are surely adhered to the insertion ribs. Therefore, supply amount of cold air through the vertical path is accurately controlled without leakage of the cold air.
