PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting a trouble of a triac is provided to detect various kinds or various types of triac trouble regardless of various standards of triac. CONSTITUTION: A triac trouble detection device has a power input terminal, a triac gate, a triac connection portion for connecting both terminals to each other, and an internal circuit portion. A gate circuit portion is composed of a resistance(R1), a capacitor(C1), and a diac(D). A snubber circuit portion is composed of a resistance(Rs) and a capacitor(Cs). A load circuit portion is composed of a resistance(RL). A trouble detection portion is composed of a gate switch(S2), the first resistance(RD1), the second resistance(RD2), the first light emission diode(LED1), and the second light emission diode(LED2).
