PURPOSE: Provided is a production process of multifunctional bio-glass which uses natural minerals useful for human body like sericite or so on to produce bio-glass for multiple uses so that the bio-glass products are widely used in vessels for household and binders for medical use. CONSTITUTION: The production process of multifunctional bio-glass comprises the steps of: (i) mixing 95wt% of sericite, 2wt% of silicone dioxide, 0.5wt% of sodium oxide, 2wt% of calcium oxide and 0.5wt% of phosphoric acid(P2O3) in a stirrer; (ii) putting the mixture into a furnace, heating at 1400-1450deg.C for 24 hours, fusing and vitrificating; (iii) injecting the vitrificated materials into a frame, cooling slowly and molding a certain type of products; (iv) putting the products into a heat-treatment furnace, heating at 800deg.C for 3 hours, drawing them out and cooling slowly to improve durability; and (v) selecting the heat-treated bio-products and then packing them.
