<p>An expansion-type masonry anchor comprises threaded shank (2) and expansion sleeve (4). Expansion sleeve (4) has apertures (5) and deformable struts (5a) for axial contraction after setting in order to provide a pull-down effect. Shank (2) is threaded at its inner end portion to receive internally-threaded conical expansion element (10) which is driven into the inner end portion of the expansion sleeve (4) upon setting of the anchor. Shank (2) has at its outer end portion an integrally formed post-head comprising axially-extending sleeve portion (6) whose outer diameter corresponds to the outer diameter of expansion sleeve (4) and head portion (8) at the outer end of sleeve portion (6).</p> |
