An artificial tooth, wherein an as-energy-absorbed spring and a thermoplastic buffer material within the artificial tooth produce a tough artificial tooth and a stabilized occlusal relation. An artificial tooth, wherein an a thermoplastic buffer material (1303) is basically provided between a jointing portion (1300) and an occlusal surface (1301) in a section forming the artificial tooth, and at least one terminal end (1302) of a spring (1304) is fixed to the joining portion (1300) and the upper end (1305) of the spring (1304) is fixed to the occlusal surface (1301). During an occlusal adjustment, the thermoplastic buffer material (1303) is softened by heating, and the spring (1304) that is housed as-strain-absorbed raises the occlusal surface (1301) to release the strain. A patient, when biting at the position of a centric occlusion, can secure a stable position for an arbitrary artificial tooth at a stable position by means of an occlusal stress of opposing teeth. When the artificial tooth kept in the stable position radiates heat, its material is changed to a hard one to shape an artificial tooth.
|
