PURPOSE: A draining device of a double tub typed washing machine is provided to simplify entire structure and an assembling process by combining a drain valve with a dehydrating tub. CONSTITUTION: A draining device comprises a draining pipe(52) of a washing tub installed in the washing tub(2) to discharge water of the washing tub(2); a valve housing combined with a dehydrating tub(3) and connected through the draining pipe(52) of the washing tub; a drain valve(60) to discharge dehydrated water from the dehydrating tub(3) outside a housing(1) and to selectively discharge the water of the washing tub(2); and a discharge pipe(51) connected through a valve housing(61) of the drain valve(60), extended outside the housing(1), and connected/isolated from the drain pipe(52) of the washing tub by the drain valve(60). Thereby, a leakage of water is reduced. |
