The slot outlet for an air veil installation with flow deflection involves first flow guiding devices (6), which in the inner space (2) of a flow chambere (1) run as an extension of parallel long side flanks (5) of the slot outlt (3), passing from outwards to inwards, running parallel and then arched away from each other. The free longitudinal edges of the flow guiding devices locate tightly on the inner surface of the flow chamber. Between the long side flanks crossways to the longitudinal direction paralll second flow guiding devices (4) are arranged.
