发明名称 IGNITION TIMING CONTROL METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE: An ignition timing control method is provided to prevent knocking and the lowering of engine output by delaying ignition timing according to the EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) in an engine. CONSTITUTION: An intake air flow rate into an engine through an intake manifold is detected(S110). The RPM(Revolutions Per Minute) of the engine is measured according to the traveling of a vehicle(S120). Ignition timing is set according to the engine RPM and the intake air flow rate(S130). The oxygen content of an exhaust system is measured(S140). Herein, the exhaust system discharges exhaust gas from the engine. The EGR in the engine is decided by the measured oxygen content(S150). If the EGR is generated inside the engine, the ignition timing is delayed according to the generated EGR(S180). A spark plug is operated at the delayed ignition timing(S190). If the EGR is not generated in the engine, the spark plug is operated at the set ignition timing(S200). The ignition timing is set or delayed according to generated EGR in the engine. Therefore, knocking is prevented and the maximum engine output is obtained.
