<p>A treating agent characterized in that it comprises an organic solvent and, dispersed therein, anatase-type titanium dioxide and a thermoplastic resin, wherein the content of the thermoplastic resin is 0.05 to 20.0 %; a method for surface treatment comprising applying the treating agent to a surface to be coated. The treating agent is used as a hard surface treating agent and a stain-proofing agent. It has stain- and water spot-proofing properties and is easy to handle in application operation, and thus can be used for a vehicle such as an automobile, an aircraft, office furniture, a building and the like.</p> |
