<p>A telescope housing (31) can be user directed to receive light from a desired object. The telescope is mounted upon a rotating base (33). The rotating based (33) is in turn mounted on a leveling stationary base (35). The level stationary base (35) is mounted on top of the roof of a structure. A dome (37) is a rigid structure that prevents weather from damaging the telescope hardware and electronics. A ceiling stationary mount (43) is a round rigid structure which receives rotating cylinder (45). This arrangement enables the rotating cylinder (45) to rotate within the ceiling stationary mount (43). This rotation is required so that a beacon receiver/image sender assembly (47) can rotate into the observer's viewing plane. The observer then wears a remote viewing apparatus (49) having placed an attachable head mount (51) on their head and placed the remote viewing apparatus (49) in front of their eyes.</p> |
