The invention relates to a combined spring-shock absorbing system for supporting vehicle wheel suspensions or axles on the undercarriage of a vehicle. The inventive system comprises tubular rolled bellows arranged between an outer bell and a rolling piston. The meniscus thereof is connected to a cylindrical inner wall region of the outer bell and a cylindrical outer wall region of the rolling piston. The outer bell or the rolling piston of the displacer are supported by a movable support located between the vehicle undercarriage and the vehicle. The bellow chamber is filled with a fluid and communicates with a hydraulic accumulator mounted on the undercarriage or the vehicle. The invention relates to a combined spring-shock absorber system containing a low friction displacer requiring little maintainance.
