摘要 PURPOSE: A nozzle of a COREX melting furnace to the front end of which ceramic is mounted is provided which has a long life cycle compared to an existing nozzle by applying a refractory composition consisting of BN, BN composite materials, or SiC or SiC composite materials to a ceramic member so as to obtain far more excellent heat impact resistance. CONSTITUTION: In a nozzle (1) having a hollow ceramic member (6) on the inner circumferential surface of a female groove in which a depression is formed in a certain size for supplying oxygen to a COREX melting furnace as maintaining the same axis as an oxygen line at the front center part of a nozzle mouth (3), the nozzle of a COREX melting furnace to the front end of which ceramic is mounted is characterized in that the ceramic member consists of 0 to 90 wt.% of ZrO2 or SiC contained BN. In a nozzle (1) having a hollow ceramic member (6) on the inner circumferential surface of a female groove in which a depression is formed in a certain size for supplying oxygen to a COREX melting furnace as maintaining the same axis as an oxygen line at the front center part of a nozzle mouth (3), the nozzle of a COREX melting furnace to the front end of which ceramic is mounted is characterized in that the ceramic member consists of 0 to 90 wt.% of Si contained SiC.
